Press for Fulfilling Connections
Pittsburgh Post Gazette
The
Patriot Pony Project was an equine based performance art
exhibition held on June 12, 2010 at Whispering Winds.
The project was a partnership between
MachinePolitick
and Whispering Winds; designed to promote patriotism and liberty
through the utilization of a series of living canvases.
The beautiful horses of Whispering Winds were hand painted with
non-toxic materials by Frances Byrd of
MachinePolitick.
Each painted horse became for a shot while the living
manifestation of an original piece of art by the artist,
designed specifically for this live event. Read more about
it on the
Pittsburgh Post Gazette website.
